Trey Swartz is an Appalachian artist that resides at the New River Gorge in West Virginia. After leaving a stable and long time blue collar career to search for happiness in the mountains, Trey started making jewelry, swapping out larger brazing torches and copper hvac pipes Trey now solders precious metals by hand with a small Smith Torch.
Trey spends most of his time in his studio making fine jewelry out of sterling silver, gold, brass, and other metals. He uses a variety of stones and materials, including locally found coal and river glass, to create beautiful rings and pendants.
When not in his studio Trey spends most of his time rock climbing in the gorge or traveling with his dog Coal in search of adventure.
Trey pursued his passion for silversmithing and never looked back
